About Us

  Ink&Essence....say it fast and it sounds like "incandescence."  And that is what we are about.  Being lit from within.

  I started this company over 7 years ago, pouring my first batches of candles on a teeny counter-top, while pregnant with my 4th baby.  Over the years we've seen changes.  We've moved to a larger home, and our family has grown as well.  There are now 7 children of various ages constantly coming and going.  My business has also grown.  More than just pint candles, we have many beautiful styles of candles to suit anyone.

  But our goal has always remained the same.

  Ink&Essence is more than a small candle company in Texas.  We're more than outrageously scented candles, and gorgeous wall designs.  We're a company that believes in spreading light.  A candle loses nothing of its light by lighting another candle.  As I create candle blends and design decor to reflect my tastes and my personality, I am mindful of creating an atmosphere of grace and hospitality in my own home.  And this is how I desire to serve you.  My highest goal in business is to serve your needs, to create products that delight your senses, and I have only met my goal when I have succeeded at this.
